Nothing. Margin has no backend servers and makes no network requests except through Apple's own frameworks (StoreKit for purchases, iCloud Drive if you opt in, and On-Demand Resources for font delivery).
All processing is done locally on your device. Photos you import are read into the app's working memory, used to compose the wallpaper, then discarded. Exported wallpapers are written directly to your Photos library by you, on your instruction.
Wallpaper projects you save inside Margin are stored in the app's private sandbox on your device only.
StoreKit 2 — Handles subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase. Apple processes the transaction. Margin receives only an anonymous entitlement token confirming your purchase status. We never see your Apple ID or payment details.
iCloud Drive (optional) — If you enable "Back up to iCloud" in Margin's settings, your templates and preferences are uploaded to your personal iCloud account. We cannot access this data — it's yours, in your iCloud.
On-Demand Resources — Font packs are delivered via Apple's CDN when you unlock them. No user data is transmitted; only font files are downloaded.
MetricKit (anonymous) — iOS may report anonymised performance diagnostics via MetricKit. This data is aggregated by Apple and does not identify you. We use it only to diagnose crashes and performance issues.
Margin is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect nothing, there is nothing at risk.
If we add a feature that requires new data handling — for example, cloud sync — this page will be updated with a new date and in-app notification. We will not introduce data collection silently.
